Girls in Science!

For the international day of women & girls in science, the study programmes of astronomy, computer science, mathematics and physics joined forces to show  female high school students that a career in science is a great choice.

70 high school students joined for a morning full of talks, quiz questions and a tour through the faculty. One of them said: ‘I am now doing a gap year programme. I definitely want to do a study in the natural sciences and it was great to hear more about the different studies!’
