On June 11, Aya Ezawa bade farewell as the Diversity Officer of Leiden University. Since her appointment in 2019, she has been a tireless advocate for cultural change and a champion of diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunities for all. RISE is deeply grateful for her hard work in uniting the networks of Leiden University and keeping us informed about university-wide developments.
