Today Leiden University celebrates its 450th anniversary. Also for RISE 2025 is a special year, we celebrate our 10th anniversary. The theme of this year’s Dies Natalis is ‘Ahead of Times’. For Leiden University, it reflects 450 years of pioneering in freedom in education and research. For RISE, it highlights 10 years of advancing gender equality in Science.
