Today on International Women’s Day, 50 Leiden women have been named in the Top 50 Women Leiden. The 2024 edition was announced during a meeting at Leiden City Hall. “The elected women all make a difference in Leiden,” say ambassadors Debbie Helaha and Reanne van Kleef. Under the nominees, are Ionica Smeets, a professor in science communication, and Annetje Ottow, the President of Leiden University’s Executive Board.
